Lino Print Flash Guide

Step 1: Bring your own garment

  • Light colours for black ink, dark colours for white ink
  • Flat, matte, crisp fabrics (eg. jeans, shirts, tees) are ideal
  • Fluffy, stretchy and textured fabrics can cause problems
  • Must be iron safe
  • I will also have a selection of pre-loved tees available to buy

Step 2: Pick a design and placement

  • Prices range from £1 to £12 depending on size

Step 3: I print it for you!

Step 4: Pay for your print & hang out until the ink is dry

  • Dry time will vary depending on print size & fabric but give yourself roughly an hour
  • Enjoy the venue in the meantime!

Step 5: Take your garment home & iron the reverse after a day

  • Give the ink a day to fully dry
  • Iron the reverse of the printed area for 4 minutes with no steam
  • If the print is big you may need to work in sections
  • Don’t worry, you’ll get a care instruction card with this information as well
  • At least 6ft long table
  • 2 chairs
  • Space for a clothes rail (I can provide my own)
  • Easy access to a sink
  • Preferably something for customers to do while they wait!
  • 2 hour long session for printing
  • 1 hour pick-up time afterwards
